From Warsaw Law Practice to EU Gateway

2007
Foundation
LEXCARTA founded in Warsaw by legal counsel Piotr Zakrzewski. Initially focused on corporate law, real estate, and debt restructuring for Polish businesses — built on years of banking and financial sector experience.
2009–2012
Small & Medium Business — Legal Support Contracts
Expansion into ongoing legal support for Polish SMEs. Retainer-based advisory covering corporate governance, contract management, debt recovery, and regulatory compliance — building the operational model that would later scale to international clients.
2013
International Practice Begins
First international company formations. Growing demand from non-EU entrepreneurs seeking a compliant EU business presence led to the creation of a dedicated English-language practice.
2018–2020
Scale & Specialization
International formations become the firm’s core practice. Development of fixed-price packages, ready-made company model, and structured onboarding process. Expansion into e-commerce, trade, and digital sectors.
2021–Now
Full EU Advisory Platform
Launch of integrated services: company formation, EU compliance and accounting, sector-specific advisory (Amazon, trade, SaaS), and fintech/crypto regulatory structuring under MiCA. 500+ companies formed across 30+ jurisdictions.

Founder & Lead Attorney

Piotr Zakrzewski

Attorney-at-Law

Graduate of the Faculty of Law and Administration, University of Warsaw (1995–2000). Completed attorney-at-law training at the Warsaw District Chamber of Legal Counsels (2003–2007) and passed the state bar examination.

Before founding LEXCARTA, Piotr spent over a decade in the financial sector — as in-house counsel at a commercial bank, director and proxy holder at a leasing company, and Head of Distressed Credit managing complex restructuring and debt recovery cases. This background in banking compliance, due diligence, and financial regulation shaped the firm’s approach: structured, compliant, built for scrutiny.

Today, Piotr leads a team of licensed attorneys and specialists focused exclusively on helping international entrepreneurs establish and operate EU businesses from Poland. He personally oversees every engagement — you work directly with him, not a call center.

LEXCARTA Group

🏛️
Two Entities, One Team
We operate as LEXCARTA Group — structured to deliver comprehensive services under one roof. Legal advisory, company formation, regulatory work, accounting, compliance, and ongoing business support — all managed by the same team, the same office, and the same point of contact. The dual-entity model exists to meet Polish regulatory requirements. From your perspective, it changes nothing — one team, one relationship, full service.

What We Stand For

🛡️
Compliance First
No aggressive tax schemes. No undocumented transactions. We build EU structures designed for long-term regulatory scrutiny — not short-term workarounds.
📋
Fixed Pricing
No hourly billing. No surprise invoices. Every engagement starts with a defined scope and fixed price. You know what you pay before you commit.
🤝
Direct Access
You work directly with your attorney — not a sales team, not a call center, not an outsourced agent. Every question answered by the person handling your case.
